Pheels Phantastic Great Vic Bike Ride Cycle the Great Ocean Road

Nov 28th - Dec 6th 2009

Cycling along the cliffs and over the hills of the famous Great Ocean Road brought together thousands of like minded two-wheel enthusiasts. From this eclectic group, over 120 people enjoyed the pampering and comfort of the Pheels Phantastic package on the Great Victorian Bike Ride this year. The best accommodation on the coastline was chosen for the 8 night package, giving each cyclist access to our bike mechanic, massage therapists, a hot shower, a snug bed each night and a delicious breakfast each morning. There is no better way to spend 'a week in another world'.

For the Pheels Phantastic cyclists, the days ride and the evening expeditions equally contribute to the enjoyment of the week. The complimentary evening meal at the 12 Rocks Cafe overlooking the bay at Port Campbell was splendid, with laughter and stories filling the night air. Not to mention the cheers and celebrations at the the Queenscliff Hotel with gourmet fine dining on the eve of the last ride. The pictures below tell the memorable story of camaraderie, pampering and achievement. Thank you for joining us this year, we hope to see you again in 2010 on route from Yarrawonga to Marysville.
