Tassie Tour...Wow what a ride !

Launceston and surrounds are always beautiful, but to have lunch at Evandale, watching the Australian Penny Farthing Championships with Phil McDonald racing, was the icing on the coffee scrolls...Great day!

Some cyclists thought the hills had grown from the profile maps, perhaps some did, but there is always the downhills to beautiful places like Bicheno, or Swansea, with rest day to Wine Glass Bay at Freycinet National park. The views and walks were as you expected. Beautiful!

Day break brought out the best in the scenery, with pelicans over the misty water. Cute Richmond its olde world charm was our last night before Port Arthur ruins, the catamaran to Hobart and the rough crossing.

When cycling in Tasmania, the quiet roads and lovely people always ensure a great ride.

Thanks to our mechanic JB and the cyclists for sharing a wonderful week!
