The sights and tastes of the Great Ocean Road

The Gourmet Pedaller was just that. Great food, great cycling, great friendships formed and great organization. The food was magnificent with sumptuous lunches served in beautiful surroundings, sometimes around a swimming pool, with our massage therapist set up each day for an afternoon of pampering. It was not unusual to be having a full breakfast or a lovely evening meal in a restaurant overlooking the sea. Cyclists came from many states of Australia, also from New Zealand and America, to cruise the Great Ocean Road in small groups, staying in the same towns as the Great Victorian Bike Ride in full accommodation.
