The Gourmet Pedaller in 2009 was great food, great cycling, great friendships formed and great organisation. The food was magnificent with sumptuous lunches served in beautiful surroundings, sometimes around a swimming pool, with our massage therapist set up each day for an afternoon of pampering.
This year it will be even more spectacular with more to see and do, cycling with pampered pedals from Yarrawonga to Marysville through the rivers, lakes and ranges of Northern Victoria, down to the far reaches of the Yarra Valley and Marysville.

This ride offers you 9 nights of great accommodation, delicious meals, activities, bike mechanic, massage therapist, support from an experienced team and the chance to cycle with 50 new-found friends.
You may think that this ride and route sounds very similar to the Great Vic Bike Ride, and yes, you would be right. The Gourmet Pedaller will be following a near-exact route three weeks prior to the big GVBR event.
On the Gourmet Pedaller you will start the day with a full breakfast, spend the day cycling in the fresh mountain air, enjoy lunch and snacks along the way from the local communities, arrive into town ready for a massage, wind down with a hot shower and share the stories of the day over a drink and meal with friends. Not to mention the great night's sleep you will have in your comfy bed.
Bicycle Victoria and AllTrails are proud to have on board Massimo Di Luca for this year's Gourmet Pedaller. Massimo is the Executive Chef of the RACV City Club in Melbourne City and has over 20 years experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. Massimo will be guiding you through the gourmet delights of each region that we pass though, making sure that you choose the right dish in the right place, and the right wine for the right dish.
