QLD winter warmer - here we come

We always knew that this tour was going to be quite a bit warmer than where we come from in Melbourne, but we were thinking mid-high 20’s, not 30’s!

The Southeast QLD bike tour has well and truly delivered on the promise of warm winter weather and our cycling group is happily lapping up the heat and enjoying the sunshine. Luckily this tour has mid-range daily distances with most days all wrapped up by lunchtime before the day gets too hot and there are plenty of cool drinks at the ready after each ride.

Today they hit Rainbow Beach, with a rest day lined up there tomorrow - a perfect seaside town to soak up the sun and explore the local area’s famous sand dunes, beaches and holiday vibes.
