The exhilaration of setting off in the cool early-morning mist and feeling the sun slowly warming the earth as it rises and brings in the day is like nothing you can imagine. It’s a big challenge and it’s not for everyone, but you get to see so many of those iconic scenes that feature in the travel shows and on the postcards, plus the local characters that make up the fabric of the Aussie Outback.
