Goldfields Track 2019 — AllTrails Bicycle Tours

Here it is folks – the fully supported trail-riding tour is back!

Join AllTrails as we head off-road again for the first time since our very successful Cairns to Cape York rides a few years ago. With spectacular overnight stays and all meals provided, you will be immersed in the Australian bush by day and be immersed in your pampered accommodation by night – with the usual full ride support you’ve come to expect from Australia’s premium bicycle touring provider.

The 210km Goldfields track is a composition of four separate tracks each with their own character and charm. Riding a new track each day, we begin at Buninyong (near Ballarat) and head north to Bendigo through spectacular country with a long gold mining history (where you will still see modern-day prospectors out with their detector kits). Along our route we have some great accommodation in the renowned spa country town of Daylesford, enjoy a night at the beautiful RACV Resort at Creswick, and stop in at Castlemaine with its historic streetscapes filled with reminders of its rich gold mining days. These overnight stops and other local villages en route offer plenty of great restaurants, cafes, wineries, galleries and spas to aid in your daily afternoon recovery after a day on the bike… it’s the best of both worlds – the challenge of cycling through the rugged Victorian bush, and the famous AllTrails support, accommodation standards, and good old-fashioned service.
